A US spray-drone bench is finally taking shape.
The domestic market is no longer a one-brand story, but "assembled here," "US-controlled" and "US components" are not the same claim.
The 2026 field includes established US-positioned production from Hylio, large autonomous systems from Pyka, and a newer cohort led by Ceres Air, Exedy Drones, Revolution Drones and Elevon Aerial Ag. Their aircraft differ sharply in payload, autonomy, commercial readiness, component origin and dealer reach.
Compare the documents, not the marketing
The right comparison is documentary:
- Country of final assembly
- Critical-component origin
- Model-specific FCC status
- Service footprint and spare-part lead times
- Operator training
- Current §44807 and Part 137 support
Research basis: Manufacturer and dealer material indexed through October 5, 2026. Availability and claims should be reconfirmed.
